If you have received an Eligibility Notice in the mail, call Teen Court at (619) 533-6099 in order to obtain more information about the program, or to express your interest in participating.

If you are already in the program and have questions about your sentencing, please review the information below. If you still have questions regarding your sentence after reading the following information, please contact your Case Manager at the number listed on your sentencing contract, or call Teen Court at (619) 533-6099.

If you were sentenced to…

Request these reports from your schools attendance office. If these reports are due weekly to San Diego Teen Court, please fax them to (619) 533-6049 or mail them in to: PO Box 12419 San Diego, CA 92112. We will be looking for improvement in attendance - meaning no unexcused absences, few excused absences, and zero tardies.
Teen Court staff needs to approve the location and type of community service that you would like to serve. We will need verification of your hours. You can download a Verification Form from Teen Court’s Web site, or you can have your supervisor write you a letter stating the services you provided, hours completed and a contact number.
A letter of apology can be from ½ page to a full page, unless otherwise specified in your sentencing contract. Letters will be accepted based on content and the genuineness and sincerity of the apology. When writing your letter(s) you must include the name of the person you are writing the letter to, and please sign the letter.

We also recommend that you begin working on your letter(s) as soon as possible so that you have enough time to complete the remaining parts of your sentence. Please bring your letter(s) to your Sanction Review Panel appointment. Once we have reviewed your letter(s) and determined that you have complied with the requirement, we will mail the letter(s) to the recipient(s).
Take progress report forms to all of your teachers and have them complete the needed information. The forms will be provided to you by Teen Court staff; if you need additional forms you can download them from Teen Court’s Web site. If you are required to submit progress reports weekly, it is recommended that you give these forms to your teachers on Fridays.

Once you have all of your teachers’ comments and signatures, you can fax them in to (619) 533-6099 or mail them in to: P.O Box 12419 San Diego, CA 92112. Please remember that we are looking for statements from your teachers indicating that you are improving in that particular class. If the comments and grades indicate that you are not trying and there is no apparent progress, other requirements may be imposed to help you improve your grades (i.e. tutoring).
Check upcoming events under the calendar tab of this webpage.
The cost of the program is $65 and includes two compact discs (CDs), a comprehensive workbook and answer sheet. You will need to submit the payment and registration form in the envelope that Teen Court provided to you. If you are experiencing a financial hardship, you may be eligible to work out a small payment plan. For more information, please contact Teen Court at 619-533-6099.

Once you have submitted you registration form, you will receive a packet and will have three weeks from the time that you receive the materials to complete the program. Teen Court will also provide a registration form.
